Summer Fun!

Summer is coming! If you're like me, you're dreaming of an 80s summer (As the Bluey’s Cartoon said the 80’s was wild) with some modern-day precautions. Here are the rules I plan to follow and things we plan to do!

Can’t wait for summer with this one!

Rule 1: NO ALARM CLOCKS (when possible)! No bedtime before sunset. Once it's dark, bed by 10 if movies in the yard.

Rule 2: MORE OUTDOOR than INDOOR! Fun activities at low cost or no cost that we can enjoy together. Enjoy outdoor art, science projects, and more unless the weather is bad.

Rule 3: EASY FOOD Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks should be simple and stove-free. Think charcuterie boards, sandwiches, hot dogs, fruits, and lots of picnics.

That's it for my summer rules, feel free to share yours!

Here is Rule 2 research that I wanted to share! Some local activities that we plan to check out: If you are interested, please check out their website to register, download or find out the cost and rules. This is just general snapshot of activities. Registration for these activities do fill up fast! These events are free (SO FAR) and open to the public!
